Sex and the City 2 beats Toy Story 3

After the American box office has been taken by surprise, cashing about 109 million dollars in the weekend release, Toy Story 3 is able to attract only 7940 spectators in the same period in Romania, although it was present on a record number of screens, 28 to be more precise.

Pixar Animation has been surpassed by Sex and the City 2. Now in its third week running in the country and only on 16 screens, the film with Sarah Jessica Parker, sold 9560 tickets from Friday to Monday, reaching a total figure of 72,361 for admission.

The next two places are occupied by the top comedy Killers, with 7938 tickets sold, and adventure film Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, with 8675 spectators.

On the fifth place is the second premiere of the week, the romantic comedy, The Backup Plan with 7564 spectators.
