Shania Twain, who is confirmed to be a guest judge on American Idol for the Chicago auditions on August 30 and 31, thanked her supporters in a video message and conferred that she has a surprise for them on her birthday.
"First to start off, I want to thank you for all the beautiful birthday wishes for Eja's birthday," the country songstress said. "Secondly, if you haven't already seen on my Web site, for August 28th on my birthday, I will be giving you a small gift of thanks for all of your support over the last year… You've been really wonderful, thank you so much."
A source disclosed that the surprise would be a video, "It's not new music, but it's a piece that Shania put together of what she's been doing for the last year. It's definitely a totally new side of Shania that no one's ever seen."
