Steve Jobs Resigns as CEO of Apple

Tuesday, August 30 2011

Apple CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs has resigned from his position. He made his resignation intention clear in a letter.
In his letter to the board and employees, Steve Jobs did not mention anything about his serious health problems but he has very careful with the words he chose:
"I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come."
Steve Jobs co-founded Apple in 1976 and he was removed from the company in 1985. He returned in 1996 when he began building Apple into the world's most valuable technology company.
Job's resignations means the future of Apple is unclear. The company has already lost 4.69% in stock market (down to $17.66/share).
