Susan Sarandon is an outspoken liberal and once again she managed to generate controversy with a statement.
In a recent interview at the Hamptons Film Festival, the Oscar winner spoke about sending a copy of the book "Dead Man Walking" to the pope and said: "The last one [Pope John Paul II], not this Nazi one we have now.”
Of course, it was proven that the Pope Benedict was a member of the Hitler Youth party as a child. However, according to his rep, the pope was never an active member of that organization.by FW Editor |
