Years back, Taylor Lautner was just a normal kid. But because of the intervention and motivation of his karate teacher, he ventured into acting. "At first, I wasn't interested," but later on, "I liked it," he said.
When he was still a child, all we wanted to achieve was to be a martial-arts champion; "Taking on roles that were the opposite of what I could be in real life? That's still my favorite thing." He narrated in Teen Vogue’s October issue how his karate coach convinced him to audition and try acting.
On getting used to paparazzi, Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the Twilight franchise, noted, "You can't ever get really used to it, because it's not normal to have people snapping pictures of everything you do. You just have to try not to let it affect you."
