Taylor Swift On Writing A Song Regarding VMA Incident

Tuesday, September 22 2009

Country sweetheart Taylor Swift is known for expressing her real thoughts and sentiments on her songs. As an example, she penned the song "Forever and Always," a track from her album Fearless, which tackled her split with Joe Jonas.

Asked if she would write a song that relates to the VMAs incident involving her and Kanye West, she said, "Well, I think that in order to write a song about something, I have to have clarity and be completely sure and I'm not there yet."

Swift then told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM morning radio show that she was "really proud to bring the first VMA home to Nashville. (It's good) to know there's a Moonman on it's way to Nashville."
