Taylor Swift wanted to keep the price of her concert tickets as low as possible. The original face value had started for as low as $20. But even before the tickets went officially on sale, they were purchased by resellers and blacked at high prices.
Her promoter, Louis Messina feels ridiculous about the matter and says that Swift wanted to make the ticket prices affordable so that people could attend her performance. But that was not to be done as Messina says that he has seen concert tickets being priced at $1100. But among all these price hike, people are still buying those tickets.
Since these tickets are being resold in the secondary market by brokers, none of the organizers nor Taylor Swift are getting a part of the money generated from these high sales.
