The financial crisis that hit MGM has put several times the new James Bond film on a dead line, but the British newspaper The Mirror launches a rumor that the production is on a dead end.
With Sam Mendes as director and Peter Morgan as screenwriter, the 23th movie of the 007 series was supposed to start filming with Daniel Craig in the same role.
But The Mirror quoted sources inside the EON Productions, and they announced that any development of the project ended, and there is no chance to resume.
"The production team members were told that the film was canceled.
The announcement caused offense because the team already has invested a lot of work, time and money in the new project," said the source to the British publication.
