The remake of the movie The Karate Kid was just released and had already earned in just three days (last weekend's) the approximate amount of $ 56 million, cushioning the budget for the production of the movie which was $ 40 million, and convincing manufacturers that the best move in this context is to prepare a sequel.
So, the representative from Deadline informs us that Sony Pictures is going to meet with the writers these days to outline the direction of the new story of the film.
Harald Zwart filmmaker said recently that he would be delight to make The Karate Kid 2. So far nobody knows which of those involved in the first movie are involved in this sequel.
The Karate Kid is directed by Harald Zwart. In the movie are starring Jackie Chan (in the role of kung fu master) and Jaden Smith (as the Apprentice).by FW Editor |
