An article published by USA Today and over the worldwide reveal new information about the new Transformers 3 movie, which confirmed that Transformers will be 3D, even if this time is not known if it will be filmed in the new format or just convert to it.
Finally we learn the story behind this end of the trilogy (though Bay said that the series could get a further trilogy directed by him to be independent).
This time the villain is Shockwave, a triple-transformer (he can have three forms: robot, turret and Apache helicopter), who takes control of metal heroes natal planet, Cybertron, Optimus Prime and Megatron when they start their adventures on Earth.
Shockwave must appear in the first two films, but was removed from the list when the number of Autobots and Decepticons has risen too much.
As it regards Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) human hero must face maturity: adventures among the transformers must find a stable place of employment.
A new look is achieved, the spatial competition between Russia and the United States, in which the transformers played a key role, resulting in one of the most dangerous secrets of the planet. So Michael Bay promises that the new film will look more like a thriller cop movie.
No word yet about the role played by Rosie Huntington-whiteley in the new film, but I am sure that we will hear it soon.
Transformers 3, whose final title was not announced, will be released in theatres on July 1, 2011by FW Editor |
