True Blood bites the audience |

The figures have arrived, and it looks like that the excessive promoting of the new season of True Blood series on HBO have not been in vain.
The new season started strong on Sunday night - 5.1 million people watched the new episode. Is a 38% increase over the beginning of the second season in February and by 19% compared with the season overall.
The rerun from 11 am raised an audience of 6.4 million viewers. 5.1 million is not the highest point of the series, one episode in August 2009 recorded 5.3 million.
However, True Blood is set to become the best investment of HBO's after The Sopranos and Sex and the City series.
