Universal is already preparing 'Despicable Me 2'

Friday, July 30 2010

Despicable Me was just released in the United States of America, and the creators of the animation are already thinking for a story to Despicable Me 2.

The decision is a completely commercial one, which means that there are very high chances for Despicable Me 2 to be a disappointment on all levels. Such projects which are designed and delivered in haste rarely excel.

In the same vein, we are informed that they are now working on two short films focusing on the main character of the yellow soldiers from Despicable Me. Is not yet known how and in what context they will be released.

The list of animated projects is substantial and promises an account of surprises.

Ricky Gervais's company, Flanimals, is producing a film called The Lorax and Tim Burton is directing The Addams Family, and is also preparing Where's Waldo.
