Variety announce that Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams will be the protagonists of the film The Vow, Michael Sucsy is directing, and the filming will begin in August.
Will be filming in Chicago and Toronto and the production financing is provided entirely by Spyglass Entertainment (producer of Dinner for Schmucks for Paramount and Sony's The Tourist).
It's based on a real case of a woman who loses her memory in a car accident, and strives to rebuild her identity.
The story of the couple, Kim and Krickitt Carpenter dates from 1993. Two months after marrying, a truck hit their car, and their life becomes a nightmare.
Michael Sucsy rewrites the script created by Michael Seitzman, Jason Katims and Hanna Weg.
Channing Tatum recent role is that of John Tyree, in the movie Dear John, starring alongside Amanda Seyfried. He is currently filming the Cheaters.
McAdams appeared in Sherlock Holmes and will soon promote the film Morning Glory, conducted under the aegis of Paramount. In July she will be on the set of Midnight in Paris, directed by Woody Allen.
